Andrea McNulty accuses Ben Roethlisberger of Sexual Assault

According to reports circulating on the Internet today, another prominent sportsman seems to be in legal trouble. This looks very much like the case of Kobe Bryant (the LA Lakers basketball star) that made headlines a few years ago. This time, Ben Roethlisberger, star quarterback of the Pittsburgh football team, Steelers, has been accused of a sexual assault by Andrea McNulty, an employee of Harrah’s Casino. Interestingly, the incident has allegedly occured a year ago, so questions are being raised about the timing and nature of the case. There is no criminal case filed at this time, just a civil lawsuit.

Apollo 11 is Not a Hoax – Hopefully

We just celebrated the 40th anniversary of Apollo 11 landing on the moon, and along with the celebrations of one of humankind’s greatest achievements, comes a sprinkling of conspiracy theorists calling it all a hoax. I generally stay away from conspiracy theories — I do not believe America did 9/11 or India did 26/11. The proof is there for all to see that they did not, in spite of conspiracy theorists abound. And I normally don’t think Apollo 11 is a hoax either, but when I recently heard over the radio that NASA had “recorded over” (listen) the Apollo 11 original tapes, I was floored.

Taliban Release Video of Captured US Soldier

Disturbing breaking news has been reported by the Associated Press about the release of a video of a captured soldier in Afghanistan. While the US government has confirmed that the video is of the captured soldier, they have not released his name, “pending notification of members of Congress and the soldier’s family”.
I am sure the authorities have to do things the way are supposed to do, and the soldier’s family deserve to be told first, but I wonder if not releasing his identity pending such notification works at all. The family is sure to know from news reports, and once they see his face shown in the video, they are going to know for sure. There should be a fast track way to get such information to the family, so that withholding of information from the public has more meaning than that of a formality.

Erin Andrews Peep Hole Video

Erin Andrews Peep Hole Video is on top on Google’s hot trends today, and I didn’t even know who Erin Andrews was. Well, that is what you get for being sports TV ignorant in America. Turns out Erin Andrews, according to Wikipedia, is a popular American sportscaster. In 2007 and 2008, she has been voted “America’s Sexiest Sportscaster” by Playboy Magazine.
Now what brought her to the top of search results today? This statement from her lawyer was posted on the web today, and should tell the whole story, or a large part of it:
